This Blue Blue Japan jacket is inspired by Watairi, an ancient Japanese tradition, and revisits the art of indigo patchwork. The main fabric, an indigo plain weave, is layered with different indigo textiles, such as yarn-dyed or piece-dyed flannels, offering variations in relief, thickness and texture.

Each fabric, whether flannel, duck canvas or fine-grained Bœuf pine, reveals a unique depth and evolves over time. These overlays are enhanced by a dry stone finish, giving the jacket an authentic character and an aesthetic that is constantly changing.
