Sweden

Suede is a leather with a velvety brushed surface.
First seal the suede with a suede sealant before wearing to protect it from any dirt.
To clean any spills, pat the soiled area with a damp cloth and then apply a layer of cornmeal or talcum powder to the stain. Leave to sit overnight and then brush with a suede brush to remove the dried powder.
For dry spots, rub with a bread eraser or a nail file. For more stubborn stains, cover with white vinegar and clean with a clean cloth. Repeat as needed until the stain disappears. This technique can be used for water and salt stains as well.

Do not clean with water alone, this may damage the color and texture of the suede.
